California Department of Public Health, SNAP-Ed Stakeholders’ Meeting

The California Department of Public Health, Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Branch is seeking broad and diverse representation at the upcoming stakeholders' meeting.

Between July 1, 2014 and October 31, 2015, the California Department of Public Health is inviting statewide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - Education (SNAP-Ed) stakeholders to participate in quarterly meetings to provide input and feedback on the development, integration, and evaluation of California’s nutrition education and obesity prevention programs as select state-level SNAP-Ed work transitions from contracted vendors to the state civil service staff. The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 9:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Stakeholder meetings will be held in Sacramento, California.

Space for attendance at the on-site meeting is limited. Please add your reservation to the meeting waitlist. As openings become available for the onsite meeting tickets will be released to those on the waitlist. We anticipate the ability to accomendate additional meeting space requests.
